Writer’s Statement

I have these two quotes tattooed on my forearms because they represent my craft as a writer. The former explains the kinds of stories I want to write (about broken people), while the latter explains the kind of writer I want to be (the one who keeps you up till five). That’s what great fiction ought to be, and I hope I can bring that to my readers with some measure of honesty and humility. Thank you for taking an interest in my work.
